Rev. Dr. William Revely, Jr.
Dr. William Revely was born in Charlottesville, VA and was licensed and ordained to preach the Gospel at Pine Street Baptist Church in Covington, VA.  

He is listed in the International Registry of the Board Certification in Stress Management in 2007 from the American Academy of Stress Management.  Also in 2007 was Certified Substance Abuse Counselor II by the Association of Christian Alcohol Drug Counselors Institute.  Dr. Revely received both CSACI & CDAAC in 2007 from the same organization.
Beyond pasturing for the past 43 year in DC and Detroit, Pastor Revely has also worked as a Social Worker, Special Assistant to Mayor Washington of D.C., and held Executive and Director positions for various bureaus and non-profits.

Revely was awarded a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Howard University in 1982.  To see how he rose to this level, here are a few preliminary steps he climbed

Dr. Revely has been involved in these and other "Special Services"

  • One of the coordinators who served on the National Planning Committee for the Million Man March in Washington, DC, and the Millions More Movement in October, 2005
  • Traveled extensively on special missions of ministry in Haiti, Nicaragua, Lebanon, mission of peace in Sudan, the Horn of Africa and a world tour for peace covering 14 countries in 2006
  • He has been an Ambassador for Peace sine 2000

Awards, Honor and Accolades there are many of which a few are listed below:

  • Listed in "Who's Who Among Black Americans"
  • Selected Sigma Ghamma Rho representative to the World Health Organization project in Haiti
  • Published "Poems from the Heart" 1988
  • Names Chief New-Edubiase by brothers and sisters in Ghana.  The phrase means: Chief of Development"
  • April 1996 received the African American Humanitarian Award for Outstanding Community from the City of Detroit.
  • March 2002 installed as Chief of Fihankra International in the USA (it is a historical event and designation as it is the first outside of Africa.)
